Ok since I am going to be here for the next 3 years, I figured that it would be important to learn some Scottish slang. So here I go:

bairn[s] (barren[s]) = kid[s]
simmit (summit) = vest
loon = boy
mawkit = filthy
eejit = idiot
Eh I ken = Yes, I know
