Sealnet PM09

To be honest, I had no idea what i was getting myself into when Sam asked me to go to a leadership camp in Kuala Selangor.

All I remember was
"Please, please, please, please, please" X
So what the heck... I joined Sealnet as the logistic team.. without even knowing what Sealnet is all about..

All I know is that Sam's friend joined last year and she found it very rewarding and all I need to do is to get food and supplies for people.. sounds simple enough.. and maybe even handle a few mentees..

my personal reasons to join were:
a) to learn leadership skills
b) to meet new people from around the world
c) to promote environmental awareness to local community
d) to teach the younger generation about leadership
e) ....i admit... maybe to meet some hot guy?! (clearly failed this part)

And so i thought...
but as it turns out... Sealnet was a definitely rewarding and new experiences.
I enjoyed myself especially with the mentees... seeing them improve in communication skills, self esteem and confidences is very rewarding..
besides that I got to know some very interesting people from America..
learned a lot of info from a Latin origin American, Diego. Very funny guy but he drives like a mad fool...
a few other crazy americans... like Kraig.. Kellie..Connie...funny bunch =) (love how I planted a bug bomb inside Kraig's dvd bag ..hahaha)

but the best laugh is when the Sealnet team pranked my car by wrapping it with gladwrap!!!
apparently its an american thing to do..

both Sam and I were laughing like mad..it was hilarious...

ooo and the seafood there on the final day was fantastic... had sooo much crabs and mantis prawns..yum

yuuummmmmmmmmmm... deep fried mantis prawn.. this is definitely worth it..
This is from the Restaurant Kuala Selangor. Cheap and delicious.
