Birthday Scrooge?

Hmm... the year is almost gone and the time to reflect on our annual deeds has cometh.
I realized something different of myself this year.
This year, I have a feeling that I have become a birthday scrooge.
Has 24 years of uneventful bday made me a skeptic?

Gone were the days where I love going to bday bash, getting the gift n cake and all.
Perhaps, I prefer simple and clean birthdays, where you do not need to surprise anyone, no dress code and definitely no cake smearing!!

I was just reminiscing the best bday years of my life was when I was in Melb. Simple dinner+Mango Gateau (Crown Cafe)+ 8 hrs of KTV!!!
We usually do not get presents.. as we treat the bday person the entire event.
But who or when or how we came up wit this regulation is completely unknown!!
Well, we all enjoyed it and that's the most important part.

So for next year, I will try my very best to be a better birthday goer..
oh and the thing with the surprise, I really dislike it... the only one which i will probably love is the day someone give me a million gold bar on my bday!!! *crossing fingers*
